Why is the Mob Wars Bounty so High?

Question: There is a mobster, level 21, that keeps hitlisting me. This mobsters bounty wasfirst Little less then 6.000.000.000, and a few hour later it was11.200.000.000.

How can a mobster's bounty raise so quickly to 5.000.000.000?My bounty is only 1.600.000.000 and I have been playing for 190 days.

Answer: In addition to what you have mentioned, Mob Wars uses another variable to calculate the bounty on a mobster. The additional variable is the number of times a mobster has been hit listed. If the mobster in question has taunted you, and numerous others, it is feasible for his or her hitlist bounty to increase.
Simply put, it just means that the mobster in question spends a lot of time attacking others. As an opposing strategy, I generally ignore attackers and hope they go a way. I would spend more on the Mob Wars hitlist to acquire more MOB wars cash.
Hope this helps!

One Tip on How to Avoid Being Repeatedly Attacked in Might of Many

A group member recently wrote that were attacked repeatedly on the Might of Many home page. Here is one example of the repeated attacks.

1 hours ago:You were attacked by [Guild Name].
You lost the battle, taking 28 damage and losing 47,666g

Issue
It appears that attacker has found this Guild as a nice income source as apparent by the reward. The attacker has more than likely bookmarked this Guild as a cash cow.

Resolution
I would recommend you temporarily move all your money to the bank. Moving your funds to the bank might make them move on to someone else.

What would also help is to put in place a good strategy for using the Bounty List in Might of Many.

What Property Should I purchase in Might of Many on Facebook?

Did you also know that it is sometimes a good investment to purchase Shacks, even if you are able to afford Lumber Mills? Furthermore, do you struggle when deciding which property to purchase? If you answered yes, you are not alone.

Purchasing real estate investments in Might of Many is similar to purchasing real estate in the real world. In the real world, consideration is given to how much income is generated; furthermore, as the supply decreases, the cost of property increases.

A common mistake that guilds make is to look at income alone, without taking into account unit income, property cost, and the cost to acquire new land for future purchases.

The formula below must be repeated for each property or land, so that you can evaluate each piece of real estate relative to all real estate owned:

(elevated land cost + elevated property cost) /Income Per Unit = Unit Investment Cost

In order to get the most return out of your investment, take all of the previous variables into account, and purchase the items with the lowest unit investment cost.

I have a documented process to help you make smart purchasing decisions. You can purchase on Ebay; however, I will release on Mob Laundry in a couple of days.

When is it a Good Idea to put Money in the Mob Wars Bank?

The Mob Wars Bank charges a 10% overhead fee. If you are like me, I questioned the reason why I would put money in a Mob Wars Bank, if there is an associated fee.

Here are a couple of good reasons to put money in the Mob Wars Bank:
  • In order to hide or shelter money in Mob Wars from menacing Mobs, it is often a good idea to have your money seek refuge in the Mob Wars Bank.
  • If you need to visit the hospital for a runny nose or a tangle with "Franky Four Fingers"

BE CAREFUL

If all your money is in the Mob Wars Bank, and you are thrown in jail while doing a Mob Wars Job, you will have to wait until you have organically built up enough money to pay the Mob Wars Lawyer. Alternatively, of course, you could try and bust out of the Mob Wars Jail.

Gang Wars Mobster Income Tool Features
  • Automatic Data Download from Gang Wars
  • Automatic Recommendations on Properties
  • Select purchase number scenarios
  • View your cash, level, number of properties owned, income

I am really excited about this tool. I have been beta testing it with some Friends. I am almost ready to release. I am working on leveling up, so I can see the entire investment list.

Facebook: Is Gang Wars, Mob Wars 2.0

I have spent some time playing Gang Wars. I have reached a level that is respectable. I am flush with cash. I can even afford the highest priced item on Gang Wars weapons list; however, I get a sense of deja vu when I play Gang Wars.

You Mob Wars converts know what I am talking about. Here is a quick comparison of Mob Wars Vs. Gang Wars :

  1. In Mob Wars, you can see your own Hitlist price. In Gang Wars you can't see your own Hitlist Price.
  2. In Gang Wars you can lose cash when fighting. In Mob Wars you keep your cash, even if you lose the fight.
  3. In my objective opinion, it is easier to build cash flow in Gang Wars.
  4. In Gang Wars there is no upkeep on weapons. In Mob Wars almost all stockpile items come at a cost.
What differences have you noticed?

Two Hot Tips to get You out of a Gang Wars Recruiting Rut

I wrote this article for Mob Wars Recruiting and Add Me. The same applies to Gang Wars. Here is the modified version for Gang Wars.

Some of you may have experienced times where your mob was expanding at an accelerated pace, but then recruiting slowed. Here are two powerful tips to ignite your recruiting:

A. First, join as many “Add Me” groups as you can. When you think you have joined enough, find a couple of more and join them. Join my Gang Wars Group on Facebook, if you have not already done so.

Every day, visit all of the sites and place an “Add Me” request on each of the group's Walls.

B. Second, visit: This Facebook Gang Wars Discussion thread
By following the invite instructions, your mob will grow exponentially in a short while. This trick is really something special.

Facebook Mob Wars vs Gang Wars Fighting

Since I have started playing Gang Wars, I have started to see subtle differences between Mob Wars and Gang Wars.

The number one difference, and a concern of most Mob Wars converts, is losing money while fighting. In Mob Wars, that was not an issue; however, in Gang Wars, you can lose a ton of money quick. Especially, if you click the button repeatedly.

The first time I recognized this, I saw my Gang Wars Cash go from 43,000 to 27,000. Learn from my mistake, and be mindful of losing unnecessary cash.

Drive a Mob Wars Humvee or Bearcat?

This question came from my Mob Wars Hitlist Group on Facebook.

Question

So, I'm looking at the humvee stats and I gain like 3 on attack and I lose 1 on defense, but it requires a minigun. so does the humvee keep the stats of the minigun, or do i just lose all the stats and money with a more than double upkeep off the bearcat with barely any more power at the level and mob size i have now

cliff notes:
  • humvee= attack:18
  • defense:16 + mini gun + $13,000 upkeep. (+minigun stats or no?)minigun= attack:12 defense: 10 bearcat= attack:15 defense: 17 + $5,500 upkeep

Answer

  • You lose the minigun stats. So yeah, you gain 3 attack and lose 1 defense for an extra $7500/hr. Not sure if it is by design, or a flaw.
  • The jury is out. It is your descretion.

Why do I produce 100k when attacked in Facebook Mob Wars

Based on my understanding of how Mob Wars works, I think it has something to do with the fact that "Tycoon" was selected when the user first created his or her Mob Wars account.

How it works
  • Tycoon Attacking gets 70k
  • Tycoon Attacked produces 100k

Goodbye Mob Wars Tools and Bots

From the Mob Wars Developer

==UPDATES==8/7/2008
Made a bunch of changes that you hopefully won't even notice in preparation for a captcha system (image verification thing) that should be really convenient for humans but very hard for bots. This should eliminate all bot issues pretty much forever.

Did I mention that I loathe hacks!

Facebook Mob Wars Hitlist Double Play

In baseball a double play is when two outs are generated in the same “at bat”. In Mob Wars I coined the term “Hitlist Double Play”.

In simple terms, the Hitlist double play is when you can pull off two hits on the same list. In order to do this, the suggested method is to attack the larger bounty first. Then follow up by attacking the smaller bounty. This is to avoid missing out on the larger of the two sums, if you were to only get one of the bounties.

Incidentally, I always go for the larger bounty, no matter what.

Below is a screenshot of the Facebook Mob Wars Hitlist Double Play. See if you can do it.

Facebook Mob Wars Hitlist Prediction

As more and more mobsters begin to play the Mob Wars Hitlist, the frequency at which a hit appears on the Hitlist will increase; thus, the hitlist will create more cash than any other method in Mob Wars, assuming the developer does not change game play dramatically.

Tonight I did a quick survey of Mobsters who were added to the Hitlist for a sample 15 minutes.

  • 03-Aug-2008 20 Hits

The prediction is that the number of Mobsters appearing on the list will increase over time. I will keep track of this stat over time, in order to validate or debunk my prediction.

This is a huge opportunity for those who are interested in building their mobs with Hitlist Mob Wars cash.

Facebook Mob Wars Requests

In a response to a question that I recently answered in regard to how to accept Mob War Requests, here is a quick tip:
  • The requests either come through Facebook Home or in Mob Wars. They are not sent via the "inbox".
  • If someone invites you to be in their mob, you see an "accept" request the next time you visit Mob Wars. Furthermore, you can also view the request when you visit the Facebook "Home". The Mob Wars invite will be listed under "Requests".
  • Once you accept the requests in Facebook, you will be taken directly into Mob Wars. No further action is required, if you accept the requests in Facebook.

Hope this helps.

How to Add Members to Your Facebook Mob Wars Mob

To invite a person to play Mob Wars, they must be in your friends list. Here are some general steps.

  • Either send a friend request or accept a friend request.
  • If you send a request, be certain to place “Mob Wars” in the personal message
  • Visit the Mob Wars Application and Click “My Mob ([some number])”
  • Highlight the Mob Wars friend that was added to your friends list (Daily Limits on invites)
  • Send Invitation

On the “Home” page, a message will display stating “Guido Chicken Ear” has been added to your Mob, once they have accepted your request; likewise, if they send you a request, you will be prompted to accept their request in Mob Wars. You will see the invite when you visit Mob Wars.

Also, here is a way to accelerate your mob recruiting.

Hope this helps.

Facebook Mob Wars Real Estate Decisions: Double down or buy a Villa?

Did you also know that it is sometimes a good investment to purchase Villas, even if you are able to afford Casinos? Furthermore, do you struggle when deciding which property to purchase? If you answered yes, you are not alone.

Purchasing real estate investments in Mob Wars is similar to purchasing real estate in the real world. In the real world, consideration is given to how much income is generated; furthermore, as the supply decreases, the cost of property increases.

A common mistake that mobsters make is to only look at income alone, without taking into account unit income, property cost, and the cost to acquire new land for future purchases. If you look at income alone, you will end up with a sizable portfolio of casinos.

You can purchase as a standalone document, or purchase the real estate investment decision spreadsheet in the Hitlist Strategy Guide package.

Top Three Reasons to Join a Mob Wars Group

This is a bit of a continuation of a previously posted article related to: Mob Laundry Blog: 2 Hot Tips to help you out of a Mob Wars Recruiting Rut

Groups have become multi-purpose on Social Networking Sites, such as MySpace and Facebook. Related to Mob Wars, here are few reasons to join a Mob Wars groups.
  1. First of all, when you are in the process of building a substantial mob that you can be proud of, the first reason to join a mob is to post "Add Me to your Mob Please".
  2. The second reason to join a group is for the purpose of discussion very important issues, such as "please take this guy out, he is has put me on the hitlist 20 times today".
  3. Lastly, I have seen a phenomenon where actual Mobs are forming. The premise is the mob will stick together in order to repeatedly punch attacking mobs in the face, etc...

There are several other reasons to join a group.

I leave you with this one last question, "Why do you join Mob Wars Groups?”

if you are so inclined, feel free to Go To Facebook Mob Wars Expansion Group, and invite others to join.

A. First, join as many “Add Me” groups as you can. When you think you have joined enough, find a couple of more and join them. The reason why this works is because not everyone is a member of more than one “Add Me” group. How to Calculate Gang Wars and Mob Wars Fights Won/Lost Percentages

The formulas are:

Fights Won/(Fights Won + Fights Lost) *100 = Percentage of Fights Won
Fights Lost/ Fights Won + Fights Lost) *100 = Percentage of Fights Lost

Here is a walkthrough example:

Fights Won: 1932
Fights Lost: 1065
1932/(1932 + 1065) * 100 = 64.46% of Fights won
1065/1932 + 1065) * 100 = 35.54% of Fights Lost

Need a Real Estate Investment Decision Spreadsheet to help you with what property to buy next.

How to Effectively Purchase Real Estate in Facebook Mob Wars

The old saying “location, location, location”, should be restated to “quantity, quantity, quantity”, as related to purchasing building structures in Mob Wars.

The reason why quantity is so important is because building prices increase each time a purchase is made. It does not matter if you purchase one, five or ten building structures at a time, unit prices will always go up.

As a guideline, always try and purchase in increments of tens. This will save you money in the long run.

Breaking News: The Godfather Brings the Pain

Yesterday I was browsing Mob Wars application page, as I normally do to find out if there is anything interesting coming up, and I found a little note about an obscure tool bar that mobsters can use to cheat.

Basically the tool bar can be used to play the entire game of Mob Wars for you, without any interaction whatsoever.

If you want to see how the Godfather “aka Jason” brought the pain, check out this account:

How to Create an Arch Nemesis in Facebook Mob Wars

So, you want a “Guido Pigeon Ear” in your life (Name changed to protect the innocent). “Guido Pigeon Ear” has plagued me since I can’t remember.

I am constantly reminded that he or she still has me in his or her “Home Page” history, by the occasional and unwarranted, “Punch in the Face” or “Attack”.

Here is how to create your own “Guido Pigeon Ear” in Mob Wars:1. Go to the “Hitlist” or "Fight Page" to find someone who is close or near to your level. The goal is to pick a mob where you can create completion on gathering members, stockpile, etc…

2. After you have either killed them on the “Hitlist” or “Attacked” them on the “Fight” list, then wait for them to retaliate. Retaliation of the potential candidate is key. In order to create a nemesis, you need them on the history of you “Home” page. It is Important to not delete history from your “Home” page.

3. Once the mob has attacked, periodically “Punch in Face” or “Attack”. You can also “Hitlist” this person. “Guido Pigeon Ear” has hit listed me more time that I count. From here, when you come in to do your daily jobs or whatever your specialty is, you can always enjoy a quick “punch in the face” to your “Guido Pigeon Ear”.

This is just for fun. So, go ahead and give it a shot.
